A Little About
Me...
My name is Farah Ulat. I am 18 years old. I was
born in Stuttgart, Arkansas, on May 24. I attend The University of Texas at
Austin. I love animals and own two cats, George and Purrdy; plus one dog, back
home, named Molly. I listen to a variety of music. However, I stay away from
country. Right now, I am a big fan of Natalie Merchant. X-files is my absolute
favorite show. So as you may have guessed, David Duchovny is my favorite actor.
I like to play soccer and I want to learn how to rollerblade. Our English
class is analyzing certain characteristics of Generation X. I chose youth and
plastic surgery because it seems that these procedures are becoming more frequent. I'm
exploring why plastic surgery has increased in popularity. I think that
"Generation X-ers" are reacting to society's expectation of beauty by changing
their appearance. However, my feelings to whether or not this conformity is
acceptable remains neutral.
